Let me start this with a big Yuuuumm, since I'll be sharing a lot of photos of different food we ordered when we visited Passion. It is one of the best restaurants when you pay a visit to New Port, Pasay City. Located at the second floor at the casino area in Resorts World Manila, it serves authentic Cantonese food. The restaurant was set within the confines of six-star Maxims Hotel, its grandiose interior reflects the rich, exquisite tastes of the orient. 

Foodies can get ready for a visual and culinary feast this summer as Megaworld Lifestyle Malls in partnership with the Asian Food Channel launches Gourmet Masterpieces, delicious art-inspired creations that is yet another wonderful way for shoppers to enjoy the Bright Side of Life.  

At an elegant event in Newport Mall at Resorts World Manila done in partnership with Mega Magazine and Appetite, guests were treated not only to the fusion of the visual and culinary arts but that of the art of fashion as well as models strutted down the runway in a stylicious fashion show. The models truly embodied eye-candy in avant-garde outfits as delectable as the Gourmet Masterpieces they were inspired by. 

Big surprises usually happen after the sun says goodbye to the city. Well yeah, to say that great things also happen at night. Not expecting that I will find my self again in a club, partying, dancing and going crazy with other people. This is just a random chance after a friend of mine invited me to come with him in a sort of celebration of success of a Russian company, the Noda Interaction Platforms after they launched here in the Philippines. So they also came up with  a true-blue Russian themed Ice Party at Manila's top Imperial Ice Bar in BGC, Taguig City.

The event also served as an arena for Noda Interaction Platforms to further interact with its partners, get their feedback and extend appreciation for everyone’s unyielding support

THE HOTEL

If you are thinking of Summer, the first thing that comes to your mind is a cooler place to stay. There is no other easy way to combat the summer heat but to run into a hotel, get freeze 24 hours with the ac and stay away from the 36 degrees Celsius weather in the metro. I came to Remington Hotel in Newport City, Pasay. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and everything was a great experience. 

THE MANSION 

A private summer house turned into a public's abode when in Tagaytay City. Puzzle Mansion Bed 'n Breakfast serves as a house to many tourists sojourning the place. It homes a thousand puzzles and now the Guinness World Records' Largest Collection of Jigsaw Puzzles of Gina Gil-Lacuna. Nestled down the hill of wide arrows of pineapples, this bed and breakfast is surrounded by the scenic view of Tagaytay. It is located at Cuadra Street, Barangay Asisan. 

A 3-hour drive from Los Angeles won't be bad to have my birthday festivities. After all, seeing a beautiful place like Solvang is incomparable.  And I say, everything was perfect in here. 

While entering the small city, all you can notice is the wineries at the side. I so love the tall stretching  pine trees as they welcome you to a Danish-themed world. There are lots of gigantic windmills. The sidewalks are like cobblestones adding an old charm  to the city, with colorful blossoming flowers that you can't resist staring at them. We are bound to find a location that everyone will surely enjoy.

This post is a month later than my actual birthday. But I just want to share a good place where I celebrated my birthday last January with my family. It was in Solvang, California. Dubbed as the  "Little Denmark", keeping a very Danish old world architecture, it was actually founded by Danes who traveled west to establish  a Danish colony far from the midwestern winters in the year 1911.

Few days before I landed in my home country, a friend of mine invited me in one resort in Cavite City for his birthday. I didn't manage to take pictures of the event since I was totally drunk and slept the whole night after the long tiring party. The morning I wake up, we have to be ready quickly and have to go back to Manila. Got to have the easiest fashion so I put on my tee and a pair of pants and a slip on shoes which is my everyday get up. I am playful with colors to put some character on what I'm wearing. 

Kung Hei Fat Choi!

Everywhere is red and gold. It's is Chinese New Year where every street is festooned with bright colors that sets the festive atmosphere. A culture junkie like me will gamble his life even if a place is bustling with people just to experience a one o a kind celebration of the Lunar New Year. Alam ko na mapapagod ako so I just wore something comfortable. :)

Are you or a loved one a shop phobic? 

Shop phobic is a person who have fear of malls, stores and all other activities having to do with shopping. Surprisingly, I am NOT. :) In fact, I know one good place to shop when you are in Los Angeles. I say that it is in Camarillo, with  a long array of stores, you have a ton of options where to shop at its lowest prices.  This won't let you feel restricted since it's basically cheaper than the factory price and sometimes they have special discounts going on in addition to the outlet "cheaper" price.
