Anyŏnghaseyo!

Korean food, anyone? To taste their food is the best way to experience Korea, or at least the only time for me to feel like a Koreanovela star. Lol. After a backbreaking (lol) shopping with my family, we went straight ahead to BCD Tofu House to feed our hungry stomachs.

To start our Korean experience, we were given tons of different small bowls of side dishes (banchan), including kimchi, pickled Chinese Broccoli salad, pickled radish, pickled bean sprout, fried fish and many more. "Yun pa lang, busog ka na!"

Inside, the place was bustling with Asians, and I say, a lot of Filipinos dahil sa ang lalakas mag-usap. Hehehe. Anyway, I ordered one of their special tofu soups, the spicy small intestines which came bubbling in a hot stone pot, egg cracked on it. The tofu soup also came with a side of white rice.  It was a great complement for the spicy bite or maybe a protection to your mouth from having a 3rd degree burn. LOL.

Korean restaurants really do give out a variety of side dishes which are enough to fill the stomach--if you match them with rice. So on one playful day, my mom asked if we can just do this without ordering anything else. Save the buck behind! :))

I just experienced Korean cuisine at Bulgogi Brothers 2 weeks ago. Their food was superb! Anghang nga lang. But it was delicious! :D

I'm starting to like Korean dishes, though I already love their Kimchi the first time I tried it. That tofu soup looks interesting. I haven't seen one like it here :)

Food trip talaga. I am a tofu lover. I can eat just by frying, dip with soy sauce and vinegar and a lot of rice.
